Because He Said So
"Why would anyone want to buy and wear Shape-Ups?" uttered my roommate Emma tonight.
"Because Karl Malone wears them!" I shouted back. Isn't that reason enough?
The Mailman is no stranger to endorsing questionable footwear. Remember LA Gears? That was back when basketball shoes were simple. And unsafe. And cheesy.
His endorsements have never been limited to footwear though. You remember his most famous gig, right? Hardees.
And who can forget the Zion's Bank commercial with Mr. Steve Young? 'Don't babies dribble?' Such a classic.
The Mailman will always be a legend in this great state for his work both on and off the court. Heroes get remembered, but legends never die.

Came back to the Blog to see if I got a response from Mal from my comment, good thing Jennifer's got my back! And I was very happy to see the Hardee's commercial! Not being from Utah I've only heard of it and many impersonations thereof. So this made my day a little better. How bout them Jazz? And no one to ruin the Magic game for me a couple nights ago!
jimmy - i need to write a post about how much i hate watching dvr'ed games!! you gotta go with real time baby...that way everyone can fully participate in the action without worrying about spoiling it for anyone. thanks for not spoiling it for me. :)
the jazz are hungry for a fourth straight road win tonight!
I hate to admit that I watch ALL games with my DVR. Darn kids tend to get in the way of my games. I refuse to miss any plays! :)
Loved watching the videos..
